The teams at Hevecam, our rubber plantation in Cameroon, recently rallied together to host an environmental awareness campaign that highlighted threats to local biodiversity.
Discussions centred around poaching and forest degradation risks, alongside the Campo Ma’an National Park Conservation Department and the Niété Forestry and Hunting Control Station.
The event saw a strong turnout as participants planted ‘multi-purpose’ forest species like Moabi and Wild Mango, valued for their medicinal properties by local and indigenous communities.
