M ighty Earth hosted a special Facebook Live event where Senior Campaign Director, Etelle Higonnet, discussed the power of investigations, working with local communities to speak truth to power, and their work with our parent company, Halcyon Agri.

Convening Truth to Power: Cleaning Up the Rubber Supply Chain
Mighty Earth has been working extensively to clean up the rubber supply chain and end the injustices often associated with rubber production. We recently organized stakeholders in Cameroon to demand action related to the environmental and human rights abuses of Hevecam, a rubber plantation owned by the company Halcyon. As a result, Hevecam has made commitments to actual change. We hosted a special Facebook Live event on where Senior Campaign Director, Etelle Higonnet, discussed the power of investigations, working with local communities to speak truth to power, and the importance of this accomplishment in light of the current state of rubber sustainability.
