Stakeholders

Collaborative working is the cornerstone of sustainable business practices. We are active participants in industry dialogue and prioritise communication with external peers. We work with NGOs, service providers of international cooperation for sustainable development, and are members of independent platforms leading improvements in the socio-economic and environmental performance of the natural rubber value chain. We welcome constructive working relationships with all our stakeholders and actively seek these with customers, suppliers, industry and government associations, relevant organisations, our employees and their families.

Cameroon Sustainability Council

The Cameroon Sustainability Council (CSC) brings together international, multi-stakeholder individuals, uniting over a progressive agenda of ecological conservation and socio-economic development. Members represent international and local NGOs, national and local government, and local and indigenous communities. The Council is committed to monitoring the implementation of the Group’s Sustainable Natural Rubber Supply Chain Policy (SNRSCP) and other external party recommendations. The Council acts independent of management and shareholders, and has extensive rights of information, consultation and initiative.

Global Affiliations

Developing solutions to global challenges cannot be achieved alone. In building ties with global business affiliations, we will collectively shape a sustainable future. As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, this proudly binds our strategies and operations to the mission of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Equally, as a founding member of the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR) and as a member of the Sustainable Natural Rubber Initiative (SNR-i), the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) and Gapkindo, we collaborate with industry stakeholders to innovate in the socio-economic and environmental performance of the natural rubber value chain.
